Are
we seeing a change in the races? It seems so. The Red
Armada, with violent or risky tactics, is obtaining great
results. Though Proeliator suffered the assault of the
terrible Impactus Infrenatus, hitting on the wall under
the shouting happiness of the white fans, the same Impactus
nothing could do to stop the run of Italic, whose driver
defended himself with cruel but effective lashes up to
obtaining the victory. The Reds in the final!
The blue Aenglish Wildfire showed itself something slow,
probably because the race was at the moment of the tea,
and his very britanicus driver could not arrange well
the reins, the cup and the tea-pot.
The green fans did not look at the race. They dedicated
their time carrying out magic conjurations, petitions
to gods and using black magic to remove the curse of their
factio.

WINNER: Hyacintha Magna
2nd : Massilia
3th : Fulminatora
4th : Golden age
Well,
well... A totally russata race. The red fans enjoy as
children seeing four chariots of their factio rolling
in the track. All four drivers decide to give spectacle
and do a hard, exciting and wild, but polite race. There
is no accident and only the knocking down of three pretorians
(curiously members of the Praesina) got dirty a bit the
end.
Hyacihtha Magna qualifies for the final fighting against
Massilia in the last straight line and passing the line
of goal with only half a head of advantage, receiving
later the plaudits of its companions but rivals in the
track. There is so many friendship and good feelings in
the red drivers that the fans of other factiones ask that
they should kiss each other and marry.
A green fan announces that has seen the goddess Venus
and She has said to him that the best way of finishing
with the curse of his factio is to organize a great orgy
in his house, but only himself,
miss Praesina and her friends. However, the augures doubts
such an divine message.

4th : Metella Maxima
Another
race without accidents, but without good feelings also.
Though there were no violent tactics, the drivers risked
his chariots in every curve and straight line. The spectacle
was very good, probably the best of the Ludi. The four
were deserving to win. In the last lap, the struggle between
the blue Crux Australis and the red Attia Clusia raised
the spectators of their seats. But Crux's horses managed
to accelerate much more in the straight line, winning
for scanty centimeters. Incredible! A blue in the final!
The scanty fans of the Veneta wave proudly their flags,
scarves and handkerchieves.
It is a historical day for them. The red ones complain
but are still satisfied. The whites begin to
suspect in another curse, while the greens continue with
their prayers and conjurations. The green fan who saw
to Venus says now that Iunus has ordered that Miss Praesina
should marry him at once, or at least one of her friends.
However, the augures doubts such an divine message again.

WINNER: Furor Teutonicus
2nd : Gladius Albus
3th : Incitatus
4th : Niquèlia Cupro-Cobaltosa
If
the previous one was a nice race. This it was a fright,
violent, bad and bloody one. There were no accidents for
divine miracle, because Scissor of Furor Teutonicus, Damnator
of Gladius Albus and Lanius Paulinus of Incitatus gave
lashes, blows and up to bites. The insane Scissor, insulting
in strange language (drunkard?), forced Niquelia to get
into the stables and it almost smashes against the sacks
of alfalfa. Though it managed to return to the race rushing
to a veterinarian, a cleanser and the dear cat of the
aedilis. Paulinus was not so easy prey, he refused with
hardness, but the white chariot Gladius got between him
and Scissor, delaying his march. Then Damnator and Scissor
gave more lashes that hair both have in the head. This
hard struggle did not finish when they passed the line
of goal. Fifty pretorians were necessary for separating
them.
The photo finish gave victor to Furor Teutonicus. Other
red in the final!
GOES
IN FINAL: Furor Teutonicus
For
the first time in Nova Roma there is no greens in the
final. There is a blue against three red.
The whites cry embraced to the greens. The semi-finals
have been horrible for both factiones. The green fan who
speaks with Venus and Iunus complains very angry. If they
had noticed him...
